Introduction

I am a sophomore at UW-Eau Claire and I am currently undeclared, but I am thinking of declaring a Geology major. I'm considering geology as a major because I love the outdoors and I would like to someday travel around the world. I love to mountain bike; I've been biking since kindergarten. I also like to go camping, hiking, canoeing, and kayaking. I am in University Band and I have been playing trumpet since I was in the sixth grade.

I have lived in Ashland, Wisconsin my whole life. It's located on the south shore of Lake Superior. It is a small town of about 8,600. It is a beautiful town if you you're passing through or just visiting, but it gets a little boring if you've lived there for 19 years. A nice thing about Ashland is Chequamegon Bay. There are plenty of beaches to go to on a hot summer day.
